Day Two and Three

Day Two

Ok, naughty but I weighed myself on my own scales this morning, showed me at 200lb (talking round numbers here) I hadn't recently weighed myself on my own scales so have nothing to compare it against.

Started the day with a strawberry shake, followed by three chicken soups with black pepper and tabasco. I also reckon I consumed about 2 - 2.5 litres of water and one black tea, I am also getting 300ml per shake so I think I am just about okay on the water but could probably do better.

I still feel hungry and am still feeling very deprived, cannot stop thinking about next weekend when I go off to a hotel for work, dinner won't be a problem - its a set menu and I don't much fancy it but its the breakfast that has got me worried, am I going to be able to resist the lure of a full english. I very rarely have a full english, we are talking maybe only 2 - 3 times a year at home, so I amost feel like what the hell I deserve it. I am hoping that by next week my resolve to be good will be better.

Popped into see my LLC to change some packs, have changed the choc, veg and thai for chicken soups. She also gave me a couple of keto sticks, one for me and one for my friend who is on this journey with me. My friend said she would wait and get tested on Tuesday, she is a day behind me as she had a major do to go to on Wednesday which had been planned for months.

Day Three

So LLC told me to wait until Saturday as it would be a waste to do it any sooner but hey I have two sticks to play with so I did one this morning and it turned Salmon Pink, I also weighed myself again this morning and I am now 198lb. So I am pleased but just need the appetite suppression to kick in.

By the way had a Raspberry Shake this morning which was okay but not my favourite so I probably won't order any more of those. I think my flavours are Banana, Strawberry, Vanilla (with coffee) and chicken soup.

I think from tomorrow I can start the bars which will add something else to the mix.

Well thats it for now have to go and do the school shoes run! Wish me luck.

Day One

Woke up feeling slightly depressed this morning, probably the thought of what I was about to embark on. Hubby was up getting dressed for work so I reminded him I wanted black tea (he always brings me a cup of tea just before he leaves) however he bought it up straight away when I was not even fully consious. So that one got wasted as by the time I came round it was cold.

Eventually I got up and showered and then went down to decide what my first shake of the day was going to be, I plumped for Banana as that would be my shake of choice at Mickey D's. I put 4 or 5 cubes of ice into a beaker and then proceeded to try and crush them with my bamix - not particularly easy, I then added water to about the 200ml mark and shake powder, then blitzed for a minute or so. For those of you who don't know what a bamix is its a very powerful stick blender that can turn skimmed milk into cream (obviously not real cream but the consistency). So what I ended up with was a lovely thick shake that tasted very nice albeit with a faint powdery taste at the back of my throat (probably because I drank through a straw).

I immediately felt better in myself after this because at least I liked the shake, I took this about 8.30 am and at the same time started my first glass of water. By about 10.45 I was starting to feel quite hungry but whilst washing up it just went. Probably due to me drinking some more water.

I have three children so come about 12.30 they wanted lunch so it was noodles for the youngest and the other two had sandwiches (made with homemade bread) but I was fine, I am not a big sandwich fan although of course I love fresh bread and butter. Decided this was the time for my next shake and was opting for the toffee/caramel one but found I did not have one so I went for Vanilla instead. I had read about adding coffee to the shake so as I like iced coffee I added a tsp of coffee granules. It was very nice although I think I would add a slightly larger tsp of coffee, also this time I crushed the ice with the water (much easier) and I topped the water to almost the 400ml mark so actually got a full glassfull.

Had to go and run round tesco, library etc and then as I did not feel 100% had a lie down on the couch, snoozed for a while and have now just made the childrens dinner which I can smell from here. Have got my soup out and the kettle boiled, I am opting for the Thai Sweet Chilli one tonight as everyone says how nice it is. I have also purchased a new bottle of Tabasco (as recommended by the counsellor) the one in my cupboard said use by 2005!

I have to say that I am still feeling slightly deprived at the moment but know that in a couple of days once ketosis kicks in then I will feel much better.

One day at a time thats what I say.

My last meal

Ok so in approximately two hours I will be leaving to attend my first lighter life class.

The meal I have chosen for my last meal is ........................... Steak Diane and Jacket Potato, actually it was supposed to be Steak last night and Stir Fry Tonight but saw my dieting buddy last night just before she went to the chippy. As it was quite late decided to joing her and hubby and I shared a portion of chips and a Doner Kebab.

This was followed by Chocolate pudding and Tesco Finest Custard, for desert tonight I have Bannoffee Pie.

I know does not sound like the person who wants to start yet another diet but I can't tell you how excited I am. Since signing up about three weeks ago its all I have thought about.

Will try and come back a bit later and tell you how the meeting went.

Ok so went to the meeting, got my little bag with packs in, swapped the peanut bar and mushroom soups as I know I won't like them. There were six of us starting tonight with two more next week and possibly another the week after.

One of the ladies had done the diet before lost a load of weight and put it all back on plus more, this is what makes me very nervous, she however did not do Route to Management which from what I have read is very importants.

So have had my Steak and boy was it good, had my bannoffee pie and am all good to go in the morning.
